I. Demand analysis
Portable bathymetry for lithium battery requirements have their own specificity, mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) Light and portable
In order to meet the needs of field operation and portable use, lithium battery should have a smaller volume and lighter weight, in order to reduce the weight of the entire depth sounder, convenient for operators to carry and use.
(2) High energy density
In the limited space, the battery needs to have a high energy density, in order to provide enough power to support the depth sounder in a longer period of time, reduce the lack of power and frequent charging, improve work efficiency.
(3) Fast charging capability
Due to the field operation there may be limited charging conditions, lithium batteries should have a rapid charging function, able to charge more power in a shorter period of time, in order to resume the use of equipment as soon as possible.
(4) Good stability and reliability
In a variety of complex environmental conditions, such as temperature changes, humidity, etc., the lithium battery should be able to maintain a stable performance output, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the depth sounder measurement data. At the same time, to have a low failure rate to reduce the impact on the work.
(5) Safety protection performance
Lithium batteries should have a perfect safety protection mechanism, including overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, short-circuit protection, etc., in order to prevent safety accidents in the process of use, to protect the personal safety of the operator and the safety of the equipment.

II.Battery selection
