I. Introduction
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, AI glasses, as an emerging smart wearable device, are gradually entering people's lives. However, the performance and experience of AI glasses depend largely on its power supply system -- lithium battery. In order to meet the requirements of AI glasses for high energy density, long battery life, fast charging and safety and reliability, this paper proposes a comprehensive lithium battery solution for AI glasses.
II.Battery selection
(1) high energy density battery materials
In view of the strict requirements of AI glasses on thin and light portability, should be selected with high energy density of lithium battery materials. At present, lithium polymer batteries are a more ideal choice. Compared with traditional lithium-ion batteries, lithium polymer batteries have higher energy density and better shape plasticity, which can be better adapted to the internal structure design of AI glasses.
(2) Thin and light design
In order to ensure the wearing comfort and overall aesthetics of the AI glasses, the lithium battery needs to be light and thin. The thickness of the battery should be controlled between 2 - 4 mm, and the design should be customized according to the shape and size of the frame of the AI glasses, so that it can be seamlessly integrated into the structure of the glasses.
(3) Appropriate battery capacity
According to the functional configuration and use scenarios of AI glasses, the battery capacity is reasonably determined. For general AI glasses, the main functions include intelligent voice interaction, image recognition, data transmission, etc., the battery capacity of about 100 - 150 mAh can meet the endurance demand of 4 - 6 hours of daily use. If the AI glasses have more powerful functions, such as augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) display, high-definition video recording, etc., it is necessary to appropriately increase the battery capacity to 150 - 200 mAh, but we need to pay attention to the balance between the battery capacity and the weight and volume of the glasses, in order to avoid affecting the wearing experience.
