The main business of DFD includes battery manufacturing, battery sales, battery parts production, battery parts sales, electronic special materials manufacturing, electronic special materials research and development, electronic special materials sales, energy storage technology services, new energy vehicle waste power battery recycling and secondary use, etc.
Ltd. is 100% owned by Fudi Batteries Limited ("Fudi Batteries"), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BYD (002594.SZ). Therefore, ASEAN Fudi is actually a "direct grandchild" of BYD.
Ltd. ("Nanning BYD") was officially established on July 5. The company has a registered capital of RMB 50 million and its legal representative is Gong Qing.
Nanning BYD's principal businesses include new materials technology promotion services, engineering and technology research and experimental development, manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products, sales of non-metallic ores and products, mineral processing, smelting of commonly used non-ferrous metals, manufacturing of basic chemical raw materials and sales of chemical products.

BYD keeps setting up new battery companies
Since the launch of the blade battery, BYD's power battery business has significantly accelerated: the
On 30 December 2020, Bengbu Fudi Battery Co., Ltd. was incorporated.
In 2021, BYD established seven Fudi-system battery companies, namely Chongqing Fudi Battery Research Institute Company Limited, Wuwei Fudi Battery Company Limited, Yancheng Fudi Battery Company Limited, Jinan Fudi Battery Company Limited, Shaoxing Fudi Battery Company Limited, Chuzhou Fudi Battery Company Limited and Fuzhou Fudi Battery Company Limited.
Since 2022, BYD has established six more Fudi battery companies, namely FAW Fudi New Energy Technology Company Limited, Xiangyang Fudi Battery Company Limited, Taizhou Fudi Battery Company Limited, Nanning Yongzhou Fudi Battery Company Limited and Guangxi Fudi Battery Company Limited. Among them, FAW Fudi is a joint venture between BYD and China FAW.
BYD keeps setting up new battery companies
Previously, BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu had proposed that BYD planned to split its battery business into an independent listing by the end of 2022 to raise funds for development.
Now that 2022 is halfway through the year, it seems that BYD's power battery business has entered the countdown to its independent listing.
However, industry insiders believe that it is too early for BYD's power battery business to be split up and listed independently, or until three years later. "At present, BYD's power battery is still dominated by internal supply, the proportion of external supply business is still far from the indicators of the independent listing of the enterprise."
From BYD 2022 on July 4, the official announcement of the total installed capacity of vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries shows that BYD 2022 January-June cumulative total installed capacity of about 34.042GWh. while the same period in 2021, BYD's total installed capacity of only about 12.707GWh.
In other words, the self-use battery are year-on-year growth of 167.90%, BYD's battery want to external supply, but also have to significantly enhance the effective production capacity.
It is understood that, in addition to China FAW, BYD power batteries are also supplied outside Changan Automobile and Zhongtong Bus. Not only that, there is news that Tesla, Volkswagen, Daimler, Toyota, Hyundai and many other multinational car companies are also in contact with BYD, but has not been officially confirmed.
What has been confirmed is Ford Motor.
On the Fudi listing, BYD's side of the statement is: "At present, the company's power battery business segment split listing work in the normal progress, not to update information for the time being."
